Jace Pluemer, Optician
***Please note that Jace has returned to school full time planning to pursue a graduate degree in Organic Chemistry at UC Irvine. He still fills in at times when needed so you may see him when you stop in to our office.
Our optician actually has been with our practice since birth! Say hello to Jace Pluemer! If our optician looks familiar it is because you may have seen him in our office before. Jace is Dr. Miller's son and has been working here checking in frames and filing since he was in 4th grade. A graduate of Villa Park High School, Jace completed his training as an optician and had the opportunity to shadow our previous optician so is well prepared to meet your optical needs. Jace loves glasses. He loves wearing them and has several different styles depending on his mood. He is skilled as a frame consultant and truly enjoys helping our patients find the right look. |
Jace is also very knowledgeable about lens products and is passionate about saving our patients from the detriments of blue light radiation emitted by flat screen televisions, computers, tablets and phone screens. He wears polycarbonate, blue tech anti-reflection coating and transitions lenses so he can educate you from personal experience.
In his spare time, Jace enjoys gaming, hanging out with friends, hugging kittens, cooking, snowboarding and time with his family (his mom made him put that in but he really does like it anyway). He is also very friendly on the phone and would love to schedule your next appointment for you. So please stop by and meet Jace if you have not already!

Eva Parra, Optometric Assistant
***Please note that Eva has retired as of July 2020 after 26 years with us. We miss her every day and wish her all the best. Should you wish to leave a note for her at our office we will make sure she receives it.
Eva has had over 30 years of experience in the optometric field with almost 25 of those years with our practice! A Fullerton High School graduate, she is our very own optometric specialist with very diverse skills. In addition to scheduling appointments and having extensive insurance knowledge, Eva is skilled in selecting stylish frames, trained in the art of contact lens application and removal, and has been certified by NVISION to educate you on LASIK and other refractive surgeries. |
Eva is also fluent in Spanish and has been trained in Optomap technology where she not only takes an image of the different layers of the back of the eye, but is also prepared to screen and pick up abnormalities during her pre-testing.
The best part about Eva is that she genuinely cares about people and patients. Eva will remember you, and not just you, but your father, your spouse, your sister, your kids, and even your dog. She may be our resident “diva”, but she has a true heart of gold. In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies and spending any time she can at the Happiest Place on Earth.
